Justin Wassink has been friends with David since the age of four. They attended the same church, grade school, high school, and college. David was Justin's Best Man when he got married in 2007. Justin currently lives in Milton and is studying towards a Master's degree at the University of Toronto.
Kirsten Anderson has been friends with Jo since Jo's first year at Calvin College. They became close friends. Kirsten and Jo ended up spending most of their holidays together, wreaking havoc on the college campus (aka breaking into the dorms to take showers). Jo and Kirsten have lived together for three years (and do so currently). Kirsten is currently in G. Rap working as an Americorp for the Red Cross, and is amazing enough to stay in town a couple extra months to be a part of the wedding.
Aron Van de Kleut has been friends with David since, well, nearly birth. In fact, David and Aron's fathers attended college together at Trinity in Chicago. David was a groomsman for Aron when he got married in 2007. Aron currently lives in Toronto where he is studying towards a Master's degree at the Institute for Christian Studies.
Nick Vroom and David met at Calvin and lived together for a few years. They both still live in Grand Rapids and make a habit of watching the Office and attending local establishments. Nick works as a mechanical engineer in Spring Lake, MI.
Paul Rupke and David met during their freshman year at Calvin. They were neighbours during their junior year and still manage to hang out when Paul is on the continent (Paul recently spent a year in Korea teaching English). Paul is currently in Montreal learning French.
Becky Andersen has known Jo since she was born. The Andersens became the Seels' American family and Jo considers Becky to be like a sister. The Andersens and Seels have celebrated pretty much every major holiday together, not to mention weekly Friday nights. Becky graduated Cal Poly with a degree in Statistics and is now working in San Francisco, California.
Erin Mundell and Jo became friends their Junior year when they had all the same classes together. They were homework buddies at first but quickly became friends. Erin graduated in Social Work as well. Erin also works at Pine Rest with teenage girls and is attending graduate school at WMU for her Masters in Social Work.
Jenny Gill and Jo became friends their first year at the Calvin dorms. They had loads of laughs and good times at the Ridgewood house. Jenny got married last May and is currently attending Grand Valley State for Occupational Therapy.
